Changuinola is on the North West Panamanian border, south of Costa Rica. Ines C. Binns was the first indigenous woman to become women's secretary of local trade union SITRAIBANA. We worked together for two very productive days gathering testimonies and documenting plantations and packing plants. In 2001 the plantation this part of the country was supplying bananas to Chiquita. Run your mouse over the images for information on the photographs.
